As of July 20th, 2022 I became officially retired. I spent 42 years in the gaming industry, dealing Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Dice. I worked in 4 different casinos, The Western (downtown, but it no longer exists) from 2/80 to 6/80. The Sundance (which became Fitzgeralds and now called The D), from 7/80 to 2/82. Then I was transferred to The Stardust (which got imploded in 2007), from 2/82 to 11/06. I was then transferred to The Orleans and worked there from 11/06 until 7/2022.
It's been over 2 weeks since I last worked and I don't miss it one bit. Planning on traveling and enjoying the rest of my life no matter how long it is.
